In a 12v12 match, my team beat the other team 501-500. However, we were not declared the winners, and got no faction for it.

At first I thought maybe just the game glitching, so I logged off, relogged, and it said the same. On all my characters. I also thought it may be because they were updating for the Preview Event, it happened about 10 minutes before it started.

It seems like it just rolls back about 30-40 fame and then from their it continues to go up properly like it should. I've already reported it through email guild wars support, just curious here if anyone else, has possibly had the same problem. It's kinda hard to prove to them, they say try to get a screenshot, but that would require me to literally take a screen shot before/after every match, which would be, quite annoying. Anyways, anyone else experience the same thing and just think maybe you were mistaken?
Obviously, ANet should keep logs of those things or the rollback a couple weeks ago couldn't have taken place. If so, they just have to check one of the older logs as long as you can specify at what time you had 895.

Default stuff

The quest for the Recruits outside baui pass (sp) is repeatable 2kexp and 500 faction. I did it a bunch of times farming for seared breastplates.
Then the hunt the kurtzicks is also repeatable.

Another bug was 1st entry of Auoric glade/mines, in one of the explorable areas after turtle hatchery. I get this black screen, no loading or anything and get kicked back out. Yet I can map to it once I get kicked out.

these are all the Luxons side.

Bug with Ritualist Skill: Attuned Was Songkai

When you cast the spell and the ashes appear in your hand you lose an additional 10 energy on top of the 10 that it cost you to cast it. This is not in the skill description so I assume it is a bug. This has happened everytime I've used the spell regardless of location/mission/quest.

There is also a bug with the Black Moa Bird - When you use Charm Animal on it, its text and health bar turn red, but it does not attack you for the duration of Charm Animal. Also, when I went to rename it, the /petname did not update until I zoned to another map. After that, /petname worked fine on it.

Although, props for making such a cool pet, anet

Edit: I had already completed the 'Beak Of Darkness' quest when I charmed it, also, it was in the middle of a pet animation when I used Charm Animal.

Edit 2: Parn is refering to Bai Paasu Reach, I'm fairly sure.

For the "Looping" quests, that presumably is by design so you can do them repeatedly to gain faction.

1. My game has froze on me a few times. I use Geforce 256 MB 7800 GTX and 2GB RAM
2. In "Attack the Kurzicks" The last group DOES come BUT it wasnt until my teamates went to another area of the map for about 10 minutes and came back.
3. With my Assassin in the Alliance battle I would sometimes not be able to turn left or right until after I targeted a person and pressed space to chase after them, then it went back to normal.
4. Dont know if its a bug or not but Veratas Aura doesnt work against flesh golems and when you use it on fiends/horrors they dont change color but do follow you.

In the mission Eternal Grove There are 2 bosses in the last wave. I worried about people not having enough time to cap skills.

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or serious here. That is supposed to happen since the ashes spells cause you to de-equip your staff and offhand items. The 10 energy lost was the 10 energy given by the staff which you do not have equiped while using ashes skills but gain back as soon as you drop the ashes and reequip your staff/wands+foci.

The ritualist skill Consume Soul reads that it destroys target touched spirit. However, if you to touch an ally on your team with it, it will kill the nearest allied spirit and heal those in that area. According to the description this shouldn't be possible.

Default Faction possible bug

Elder Rhea, in Cavalon tells you to earn 10K faction and she'll sponsor you as a friend to the Luxom. Cool. So I'm earning faction, cashing some in for jadeite just for the sake of doing so... get over 10K but have 4000 and change on the bar. She doesn't recognize earned faction as she requests, only faction on the bar.

Soooo...

I get 10K on the bar. She's happy, calls me friend, turtle egg quest and all that. Fine, now to clear off the faction bar and get more. So I cash it all in for Jadeite. Go to sell the jadeite to the rare material trader... they won't talk to anyone not a friend of the Luxoms (ironically the quest I just completed).

Most annoying, can't tell if my design or a bug. However, you should be recognized for your total earned faction imo, and it's this earned faction that should need to be bled if switching sides (possibly).

Yeah I had that too. I had 10k faction, got 10 jadeites, went to sell to trader and....they wont talk to me. Seems you need at least 1 or a few faction for them in order to talk. They probably meant to do it this way, but if possible they should have some way around it. As long as I dont have more Kurzick than Luxon they should allow me to talk to merchant and others I suggest. So if I have 0 Kurzick and 0 Luxon (like I had at the time) I should be able to talk to either side for at least the merchants.

Default Death's Charge teleport bug

This bug happened to me, and I observed it happening to someone else.

I've only seen it happen with Death's Charge, the skill that teleports you to a selected enemy's location.

In the one time I saw it, it seemed like it teleported me to an incorrect location (not actually to my enemy's location, though it was more or less in between where I had started and my enemy).

It occured at Saltspray Beach, the Alliance Battle PvP area. That is where I saw it happen to a teammate, also.

Once it happened, I couldn't get out, except by dying. I tried using the skill again on an enemy, but it simply failed to work as far I could tell. (The skill button didn't even appear to activate or recharge.)

I used Viper's Defense (the random teleport) and Shadow Step (the "return to start" sprint-like teleport) without any problems many times during the weekend.

1GB RAM

I don't know if it would classify more as bugs or minor gripes (plus some positives!), but I did have some comments at http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...41#post1148941 which might be worth checking, Gaile. I should have put them here, sorry.

Default Ranger interrupts and Ritualists

Ritualists in PvP have an awfully hard time; their 15en rituals take 6s to perform leaving them open to savage shot, disrupting lunge, and numerous other interrupts (including Warrior knock-downs, Gale, etc.). I think that cheap (3-4en?) and spammable (6-10s) Ranger interrupts are still too powerful, but with a Ritualist it is really problematic. Savage Shot alone on a Ranger's bar can single-handedly keep a communer shut-down, yet giving them 4s to hunt around for other targets every 6s. It is just not balanced.

What I'd like to see: (a) cost of the interrupts go up, perhaps to 15-18en so that by the time you get your 58% expertise savings it is 7-8en, (b) a small increase in recharge, 10-14s instead of 8-10s to put themmore in-line with Mesmer interrupts. Note that while Ranger interrupts can be dodgable, Mesmer interrupts are limited to only spells and cannot interrupt through Spell Breaker or Obsidian Flesh.

That said, I think the Mesmer interrupts are still a bit weak - while Cry of Frustration and Power Drain are perfectly ballanced, the other Domination interrupts, Power Spike and Power Leak could use a buff in their recast time. The limting on these two interrupts is their massive energy cost (10en) which is perfectly priced.

Alternatively, reduce the ritual times / cost / rechrage dramatically or give the spirits better armour/hit-points. Even after spending 6s getting a spirit up, it can be taken down with 2-3 hits from a warrior, if that.

I'd like to commend the Arena.Net staff on improving Elementalists, the previously useless AoE spells in PvP now completely cleans up a spirit farm: one good sized 15en firestorm and you can eliminate a a whole cluster of spirits (30s and 50en or so to put-up). I actually like this "balance", I think an elementalist should be the natural "weakness" of a ritualist. However, having these spirits so weak to Rangers and Warriors really doesn't help the game balance: one might even consider making them immune to physical damage?

Don't know if it's a bug, but I got this message when running around in Cavalon...

It's probably something they'll want to look at though

Graphical Bug During Alliance Battles

Whenever I played an alliance battle, no matter what character I used, I would have some random player's energy or health bar displayed on the bottom half of my skillbar. It would look just like mine only I knew it wasn't mine b/c its values were different. It would be complete with pip symbols. It was quite annoying because I didn't know who it belonged to and also because it would interfere with my skill-clicks. I had to remember to click the top half of the skill button to avoid having the energy bar take the click.

Sometimes it would be a blue energy bar. Othertimes it would be a red health bar. Happened every single battle. I stupidly did not take a screenshot.

I will endeavour to do so when the game comes out.

Did anyone else see this?

1 of kurzicks quests was seriously bugged - we got quest outside the conservatory - we were supposed to find 4 recruits in this area - we found them - bring them 1 by 1 to quest npc (henchy decided not to heal them so when we tryed to get all recruits and bring them alltogether they just unevitable ended up dead and we had to search for more) - got all 4 - got quest update in quest log - tryed to talk to quest npc so we can get reward - npc refused to give us our exp and send us to get more recruits - well we tryed just for fun - but after we found more recruits they refused to follow us....

what a waste of time....
